From a Normandy outfitters, a solid oak counter, with Ebonised paint finish. Rectangular top over three drawers flanked by scrolling brackets. Below, three further cupboard doors with shelving within. All with working locks and key. Raised on a plinth base, the sides and back also panelled, making it an outstanding freestanding kitchen island or shop counter. A substantial and well made piece, the doors and drawers 1.5 inches thick. Filled holes to the top, where originally there was a brass gallery supporting glass shelves.
