A circa 1950 very large Kerman carpet from South Central Iran. A large and impressive piece, it has been handmade in Kerman. Typical floral ornaments in rich, strong colours around a central medallion in the centre of a sumptuous crimson ground. Some wear to the pile in places, but overall a carpet in good condition for its age and use.
