A large and spectacular 19th century country house curved Bacon settle. In the traditional manner, a high back rest with cupboard doors opening to internal hanging space with original iron hooks that once would have housed various cured meats. A curved seat with arms to each end above one cupboard door allowing access underneath the seat, and a matching false door the other end. Knocks, marks, splits and wear commensurate with age and use, but in solid order. Please note that this a large and heavy piece of furniture and you should ensure that there is sufficient access both to and within the property to manoeuvre as it is all in one piece.
