A well executed early 1900’s oil on canvas of a dog in front of a kennel. Unsigned, but from the English school. Set in a rustic outdoor environment, the dog is well painted with attentive and gentle expression. Some repairs to the canvas, and the painted frame has knocks, marks and chips associated with age. A delightful piece of Countryhouse art.
