An 18th century oak fall front bureau. The top opening to reveal five drawers, five pigeon holes and secret sliding compartment behind the writing slope. Two short over two long drawers with period brass drop handles. Raised on bracket feet with original panel back. Wonderful rich colour. Knocks, repairs and marks commensurate with nearly 300 years of use. Key present to open top but lock doesn’t work, stays in its open position.
