A good quality vibrant Kashan rug. Rich red ground with central medallion with radiating rosettes and palmettes over indigo spandrels. Border of repeating meandering vines and foliates. There are isolated repairs to the centre section of the rug, as shown, with a couple of small threads to selvedge. A rug of good quality and rich colour.
