An impressive early 1900’s carved hardwood Torchere. Featuring intricate carving of fruits and foliates, the base has elaborately scrolled mythical sea creature feet, with central column of a winger bird - possibly a heron. The upper section of more intricate carvings terminating in a flat top with recess for plant or candle. In good overall condition, fabulous decorative item.
