A wonderfully decorated English oak dresser base, late 18th century with later carving and paint in the folk art manner. The top, drawer fronts and doors all with stylised foliage and low relief, which has been pleasing decorated with soft muted tones of red, blue, green, white, yellow and orange. Drawers with brass swan neck handles, cupboards with shelving and raised on short square legs. Minor losses beading around a couple of drawers but structurally sound and retaining original panelled back.
