A commanding late 18th century French cherrywood and oak buffet du corps or housekeepers cupboard. A separate oak moulded cornice in top of an upper section with panelled doors opening to shelving inside. The lower section with two small drawers above another two panelled doors with further shelving. Raised on rounded legs to the front and square to the back. Evidence of historic worm, which as always is treated as a precaution. Working locks and key. Other knocks and marks commensurate with age.
