A large Veramin area carpet, dating to around 1950. A midnight blue lattice field of flower heads enclosed by terracotta borders of vines and samovar motifs, flanked by guard stripes. High quality carpet, with areas of low pile and wear, particularly to the selvedge on the long sides. Visibly faded in areas, but overall a nice country house condition carpet.
