An 18th century Mahogany secretaire estate cupboard of good colour, in the manner of Phillip Bell or Henry Kettle. A dentil moulded cornice over a pair of serpentine moulded panelled doors, enclosing an arrangement of later drawers below an adjustable shelf. The secretaire drawer with brass hinged front enclosing arrangement of drawers and niches over two further long graduated drawers, raised on shaped bracket feet. Original brass fittings throughout. Knocks marks and minor losses commensurate with age and use. Lacking key, drawers run a smoothly. In two parts.
