A good quality c. 1865 mahogany low back sofa in the manner of Gillows. Characteristic scrolled arms and a low, straight back. With a mahogany frame raised on turned legs and ceramic castors. The ivory embossed fabric in good overall condition with minor wear. The frame and springs in very good, solid condition. An excellent Countryhouse sofa.
