A late 19th century Ebonised and parcel gilt glazed bookcase in the aesthetic taste, by Gillow & Co., stamped ‘13563’. The rectangular top with a mounted gallery with carved foliate plaque, above two frieze drawers with original brass hardware and a pair of glazed doors with locks and key, opening to three shelves within. Original Ebonised and gilt paint finish to the front, sides and shelf edges. All raised on block feet. In good original condition, and a very decorative piece of furniture.
